This is a static showcase website: no accounts, no forms, no cookies. Here, in plain terms, is the little data we process and what your rights are.

Visiting the website

When you visit this website, our hosting provider Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland) records technical logs: IP address, date and time, page requested and browser. They are used solely for the security and proper operation of the website, and are kept for a limited period.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Switzerland is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

Audience measurement (Matomo, cookie-free)

We measure visits with Matomo, installed on our own server (analytics.fidb.be). No data is passed on to third parties or used for advertising purposes.

  • No cookies are set, and nothing is read from your device.
  • Your IP address is anonymised (last 2 bytes masked) before anything is recorded.
  • We measure page views, time spent on each page and clicks on the “Try the demo” buttons and on e-mail links.
  • Data is kept for 13 months at most.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used in order to improve it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time by writing to us.

Contact by e-mail

If you write to us, we process the data you send us (name, company, e-mail address, content of the message) in order to reply and, where applicable, to prepare an offer. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep this data for the duration of the exchange, and thereafter in line with statutory retention obligations.

Cookies and external resources

This website sets no cookies, so no consent banner is needed. Fonts and images are hosted with the website; the only external resource is the Matomo analytics tool described above.

The demo at demo.kanseios.eu is a separate application. It also measures its visits with Matomo, without cookies.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). To exercise these rights: info@verascius.com.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.
